We at Kivvit are appalled, saddened, and angered by the murder of George Floyd. We grieve at this horrific crime and stand in solidarity with those who are raising their voices against this evil injustice. The deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, Sandra Bland and too many others are not isolated incidents, but rather examples of a systemic failing within our country that must end.

We are in pain. We see the pain particularly in the eyes of our African-American colleagues, family members, and friends. And this pain is leading us to take action. We are proud of our employees who are marching, protesting, and standing up to racial injustice. Racial, ethnic, gender, and sexual diversity are core to our values.

Kivvit is committed to creating change and improving the communities where we live and work. But words are empty if they are not accompanied by action. In order to make change, we ourselves need to change. We are going to commit to this change by:

• Promoting policies and actions that advance social justice and equality.

• Engaging in important, lasting initiatives that use our unique skills to implement meaningful societal change.

• Looking inward and identifying steps to further develop a culture that prioritizes equality and diversity both at Kivvit and in our industry.

As individuals and a firm, we know we can do more and we must do more. Because we have the power to shape a better future, we will listen, learn, and act. That is our vow.
