Veronica Gallardo
Veronica specializes in media relations, campaign management and developing media campaigns in English and Spanish for the media team. She works with clients from different sectors and industries, creating and pitching stories across the country. She has strong relationships with news directors, producers and reporters at TV and radio stations nationwide. Veronica firmly believes in the power of content and is constantly seeking to promote the Spanish component. She is also a member of our Hispanic Taskforce.
Veronica seamlessly integrates and crafts messaging and content according to each audience. During the pandemic, she led influential health campaigns, helping educate the American public on critical messages and vaccinations.
Before joining Avoq, Veronica worked at Turner Broadcasting for more than 10 years. In her role as CNN editorial producer, she pitched, coordinated and produced daily interviews for major CNNE shows, with world leaders such as former presidents of Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica and Bolivia as well as other world political leaders. She covered stories and breaking news, including the death of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Hurricane Maria, the Parkland shooting, U.S. elections, terrorist attacks and other major events in the U.S. and abroad.
Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Veronica now lives in Atlanta and enjoys spending time with her family.
