Calvin Yohannan
Calvin is a content and digital strategist who thrives on bringing campaigns to life through social storytelling and integrated digital strategy. Since joining Avoq, he has helped lead digital initiatives for PBS, JPMorgan Chase and the Obama Foundation—crafting thought leadership content, shaping channel and community strategy, activating influencers and integrating paid media to maximize impact.
Before Avoq, Calvin was a senior content strategist at Ogilvy New York, where he drove high-profile campaigns including Total by Verizon’s Super Bowl launch, World of Hyatt’s debut on TikTok and Mastercard’s Global Social Media Playbook. He began his career at Zeno Group, building a foundation in content and social strategy for clients such as the USOPC, Lenovo and the Aruba Tourism Authority.
Outside of agency work, Calvin serves on the Board of Directors for Boricuas Unidos en la Diáspora, a national 501(c)(4) advocating for Puerto Rican sovereignty and decolonization. His advocacy has taken him to the United Nations, Cornell University and stages in New York City and Washington, D.C. Originally from New Jersey, Calvin now calls Brooklyn home, where he can be found exploring new neighborhoods or rooting for his beloved New York Mets.
