Dave Metzger

As Chief Financial Officer, Dave oversees and manages our finance and accounting operations, promoting the success and growth of the firm. He brings decades of experience and a successful track record in finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, banking, law and executive leadership.

Dave began his career in corporate finance and corporate tax law, before moving on to manage several private equity growth portfolio companies as a COO and CFO. Prior to the communications field, Dave worked in a variety of industries – including biotechnology, health care, real estate, aircraft maintenance and repair, smart home technology, franchising and more. He’s led many companies to a successful monetization event with a financial or strategic buyer. Outside of finance, Dave has played leading roles in strategic planning, legal, human resources, risk management, business operations, acquisition due diligence and integration. He believes the keys to success for his job are an entrepreneurial spirit and a good sense of humor (despite what his daughters think!).

Dave loves spending time with his four daughters and attends as many concerts as he can with them. He is on a number of non-for-profit Boards and volunteers for Special Olympics. Dave enjoys running and biking and rode the 2021 and 2023 RAGBRAI – the Register’s Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa.
