Virginia works in broadcast, media training and pitching large campaigns, with a focus on the Hispanic market across the United States. She’s led successful campaigns for corporate, government and nonprofit clients.

Before Avoq, Virginia was the Hispanic program manager for Capital One, where she led the Hispanic marketing campaign in three markets: Texas, New York and the DMV. She was also the company’s Hispanic spokesperson for six years.

Virginia was born and raised in Venezuela and moved to the United States in 2002. She loves to volunteer, run and practice yoga and barre. She also loves dogs and has a miniature Schnauzer, Luna. In her spare time, she loves to cook and bake.

  • Virginia was a speaker at the recent annual National Association of Hispanic Journalists convention. She also is part of the NAHJ D.C. chapter.
