Nicholas Couch

Nick specializes in legislative tracking and Senate hearing coverage. He supports clients across industries and sectors, with a primary focus on energy, environmental and transportation issues.

Before starting his current role at Avoq, Nick was the executive assistant for the government relations team. Prior to Avoq, he interned with Representative Tom Malinowski (D-NJ) and worked for a medical college association. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from American University.

Originally from New Jersey, Nick now resides in D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood. You can usually find him logging movies on his Letterboxd account and collecting all 429 national park stamps.
