
Daniel Zaretsky
As coordinator for the Government Relations team, Daniel supports all of the firm’s lobbyists, including managing the team’s scheduling, operations, and communications. He is also involved with the firm’s research function, frequently providing Congressional hearing coverage and other research deliverables focusing on the complex, often-niche policy issues that clients care about.
His day-to-day includes coordinating between Congressional offices and the firm’s government relations and communications clients. He also helps plan and oversee fundraising events, specifically for members of the U.S. Senate and House.
Before Avoq, Daniel worked as a communications and policy intern at the U.S. Council for International Business and as a press intern covering the United Nations FAO in Rome, Italy. He’s also staffed several Democratic campaigns. Daniel is a graduate of American University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in international business.
Originally from Chapel Hill, NC, he now lives in Washington, D.C. On the weekends, you can find him watching Liverpool win the Premier League and attempting to DJ.
