With more than two decades of experience in the U.S. Senate, Lindsey has a deep understanding of the legislative process and a unique ability to navigate complex issues to deliver results. Lindsey’s legislative expertise includes appropriations, health care, education, labor, retirement and the Senate budget and reconciliation process.

Before joining Avoq, Lindsey served as the Republican clerk and staff director of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies, where she was responsible for funding the largest non-defense government appropriations bill. Prior to that, Lindsey served in numerous Senate legislative roles, most recently as deputy staff director on the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee for both Richard Burr (R-NC) and Lamar Alexander (R-TN). During Lindsey’s Senate tenure, she played a role in numerous bipartisan laws including the Every Student Succeeds Act, 21st Century Cures Act and LHHS appropriations bills.

Lindsey is a native Texan and a devout Dallas Cowboys fan. She lives in Alexandria with her husband, children and Goldendoodle.
