Macrae Murlick

Macrae delivers timely, actionable insights that help inform advocacy strategies for clients across a range of industries. He tracks legislative and regulatory developments in Congress and federal agencies, and prepares research and briefing materials to support their priorities.

Before joining Avoq, Macrae served as a regional director for U.S. Representative Tom Barrett’s reelection campaign. In this role, he led regional outreach and political engagement efforts, built relationships with local stakeholders and directed campaign events, communications and volunteer operations. He previously worked as a government relations intern at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, where he conducted legislative and regulatory research on tax, defense and energy policy for clients. He also interned in the district office of U.S. Representative Tim Walberg.

Originally from Michigan, Macrae now lives in Washington, D.C. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and golfing.
