John Siniff

A veteran journalist and storyteller, John brings a newsroom’s perspective and rigor to our clients’ diverse campaigns and storytelling efforts. He works across an expansive menu of issues and needs, helping to craft impactful narratives that are real, informative, persuasive and actionable. He believes the best stories feed the mind, touch the heart — and move the needle.

John works with executives in the corporate and nonprofit worlds to find their voice and use it in ways that matter, whether navigating a pandemic, speaking to a workforce of thousands or advocating for a policy change on Capitol Hill.

Before joining Avoq, John was a senior editor at USA Today for more than 20 years, shaping the daily news coverage across print and digital platforms. He was a member of the newspaper’s editorial board and the op-ed editor, and also became a regular news contributor on BBC Radio.

Away from work, John lives in Northern Virginia, where he and his wife take turns chasing their three boys and a high-energy rescue pup, Luna.
