Peter Demchuk

Peter creates long- and short-form videos by conducting interviews, directing field and studio shoots, and writing scripts to create compelling stories for a wide range of clients in government, healthcare and social policy. He also directs motion graphics and animated content with a talented team of designers and editors. Peter has produced signature brand videos and recurring series for clients in the public health and international relations sectors.

Before joining Avoq, Peter worked at the Discovery Channel’s documentary unit and at ABC News’ “Nightline.” At ABC News, he reported and produced national, international, political, investigative and culture stories. Based in Washington, D.C., New York and London, he has won 13 News Emmys and two DuPont Columbia Awards.

Peter lives with his family in Northwest Washington, D.C. On the weekends, you can find him operating a car service, ferrying his kids to games, practices and sleepovers.
