Caitlin Canter
Caitlin joined Avoq in 2022 with more than 12 years of experience in politics and lobbying. She specializes in healthcare, with additional expertise in tax and trade practice areas regarding issues involving the Ways and Means Committee, House Republican Leadership and the House Republican Conference.
Caitlin has created successful legislative strategies for companies in a wide range of sectors, with an emphasis on healthcare. She has also raised clients’ profiles on Capitol Hill, establishing them as go-to resources for policymakers. Caitlin has expanded Avoq’s expertise in the health policy practice area.
Most recently, she served as a principal for Capitol Counsel LLC’s healthcare practice. Prior to that, she spent her Capitol Hill tenure working for Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), a former senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
Caitlin grew up in the Central Valley of California and enjoys all things outdoors, from sailing to hiking to working in the yard. She attended the University of Washington and is a fair-weather Huskies football fan. She spends her free time with her young children.
