Jeff Levey

Jeff Levey is a seasoned tax policy expert with more than three decades of experience advising global companies on tax legislative and regulatory issues.

Jeff brings a distinguished career in Washington, D.C. and internationally, where he has guided financial institutions, multinational corporations and industry coalitions through complex tax policy challenges. His expertise spans U.S. and global tax reform, international corporate taxation, financial services policy and regulatory engagement.

Jeff has led multi-company coalitions on critical tax-related issues and policy. Most recently, he served as an executive director at Ernst & Young’s Washington Council (WCEY), where, for nearly 16 years before retiring, he advised global companies on federal and international tax policy matters. He led teams supporting clients before Congress, the Treasury Department, the IRS and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), with a particular focus on the financial services industry. Prior to joining WCEY, Jeff was the global tax policy lead for Citigroup, working with the global government affairs group based in Washington and with the global tax department.
