 
			Parker Sterling
As executive assistant to the government relations team, Parker supports the firm’s lobbyists by managing scheduling, operations and internal communications. His daily responsibilities include coordinating between congressional offices and the firm’s government relations and communications clients.
Before joining Avoq, Parker served as an operations assistant in the U.S. Senate, where he supported the member, scheduling team and office operations across Washington, D.C. and state offices. He also led the office’s intern program, mentoring young professionals and helping them gain firsthand experience with the legislative process. Prior to his time on Capitol Hill, Parker worked in the hospitality industry to put himself through school, balancing a full-time job while pursuing his education.
Originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Parker now lives in Washington, D.C.
