Owen Lang

Owen Lang is a director and editor with a talent for taking complicated ideas and making them feel inevitable on screen. He has worked across advertising, consumer brands, government, finance and nonprofit organizations, bringing both a documentary filmmaker’s instincts and a sharp comedic sensibility to every project. Owen is as comfortable in a boardroom interview as he is on a full production set, and it shows in the final product.

Before joining Avoq, Owen spent nearly 20 years at Cerebral Lounge, where he served as a director, editor and creative director. During his tenure, he helped grow the company into an award-winning production studio serving clients across a wide range of clients and projects.

Owen grew up on a dairy farm in rural Michigan, but now lives in Baltimore, where he spends his time gardening and recording music with his band that is hard to describe but impossible to forget.
