Rachel Lenke
Rachel specializes in campaign management, executive positioning, issue advocacy and media relations. Her work spans several industries and sectors, including real estate, education, energy and economic development.
Rachel brings wide-ranging experience to her work, which includes staffing media interviews, writing press releases, drafting media pitches and more. She has worked on several of Avoq’s most impactful campaigns, including the successful 2020 presidential get-out-the-vote campaign in Chicago, as well as media relations around state legislation to advance reproductive health rights, national apprenticeship programs, and COVID-related Future of Work real estate campaigns.
Prior to joining Avoq, Rachel was an account executive at MK Communications, a public affairs firm based in Chicago, where she managed strategic communications and media relations efforts for impact investment funds, city agencies, residential and commercial real estate firms, and citywide mayoral youth initiatives. Rachel also brings experience from serving in the press office of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, where she focused on media relations, event management, and engagement with a wide range of city agencies.
Rachel is from Mount Prospect, IL, and now lives in Nashville with her husband.
