Mashal Hashem

Mashal specializes in helping clients reach their public affairs objectives through the utilization of strategic communications, media relations, public policy expertise and state and federal government advocacy. She works with clients across industries and sectors, including government, renewable energy, healthcare and cannabis. Mashal contributed to Avoq’s efforts to enhance the brand reputation of a utility company by facilitating regular meetings with customers, New York public officials and politicians.

Prior to joining Avoq, Mashal worked at the International Law Institute and the Center for International Policy.

Mashal is originally from Potomac, MD, and her interests include running, reading, indulging in Netflix series marathons, exploring new restaurants, embarking on travel adventures and spending time with family and friends. She serves as a mentor for Northwestern University student-athletes and volunteered with the World Central Kitchen’s COVID-19 response team in 2020.
