Senior Associate | Strategic Communications
DeJoiry specializes in campaign management, issue advocacy, policy analysis, messaging and strategic communications. Utilizing his political and coalition-building experience, he works primarily in stakeholder outreach, overseeing messaging and content curation, and developing integrated communications and advertising strategies.
Before Avoq, DeJoiry served as a legislative aide for Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-Mich.), managing education, tech, labor and workforce policy. In addition, he served as a member of NAACP’s National Board of Directors and led organizing efforts to elect the organization’s first national officer under the age of 25.
DeJoiry is a native of St. Peter, Barbados, and grew up in Saginaw, MI. He currently lives in Chicago.
