Michael Ford

Michael is an accomplished political communications veteran who manages a wide range of public affairs campaigns. He is an expert in justice reform advocacy, campaign and coalition management and crisis communications.

Using his extensive political experience, Michael has played leading roles in several notable Avoq campaigns, from high-profile criminal justice reform efforts to civil space start-ups to advising leadership of Fortune 500 and Fortune 100 companies.

Prior to joining Avoq, Michael worked in both the House and Senate as a communications staffer, as the communications director for Rep. Raul Ruiz, M.D. (D-Calif.) and then-Rep. Kathy Hochul (D-N.Y.). Previously, as the digital media director for Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), he established and directed the senator’s digital communications efforts.
