A’Lexus specializes in media relations, communications strategy, community engagement and crisis communications. She works with clients across a variety of sectors, including higher education, energy and nonprofit.

A’Lexus has supported landmark public policy and political accounts to drive support in local referendums and state elections.

Prior to joining Avoq, A’Lexus worked at a boutique agency in Chicago’s West Loop and handled media relations, in-depth research and community engagement for clients across various industries. Before that, she ran social media for Rainbows for All Children, a nonprofit specializing in grief services for families and children.

A’Lexus is from Fort Worth, TX, and currently lives in Evanston, IL, with her two cats. You can find her exploring Illinois’ many state parks and nature preserves and indulging in all of the amazing cuisine Chicago has to offer.
