Evan specializes in earned media and message development. He works with clients across industries and sectors, including renewable energy, transportation and higher education.

Recently, Evan helped introduce a start-up to local and national audiences through local company profiles, trade outlet coverage, targeted podcasts and top-tier national media hits.

Prior to joining Avoq, Evan served for five years on Sen. Tammy Duckworth’s (D-Ill.) communications team. As Duckworth’s press secretary, he helped build her national profile by delivering a wide array of media opportunities. He took two temporary leaves from the Senate to help the Biden campaign and a frontline House campaign.

Evan is from a small town in Southern Illinois and now lives in Washington, D.C. He enjoys a good book, prestige TV and slow pitch softball.
